WELCOME TO FHR 2013!
Family is the building block of society. Recent cultural and technological developments conspire to deprive young men and women the stable and secure environment needed to grow and thrive in today's complicated and challenging world. The mission of FHR 2013 is to enhance the lives of all current and future Americans by strengthening the fundamental institutions and values of a sustainable society.
What are those fundamental institutions? Marriage and Family.
Marriage - the committed union of a man and a woman
Family - a married couple and their children
What are those fundamental values? Dignity, Sanctity, Unity and Integrity
Dignity - Conduct in accordance with the elevated nature of humanity
Sanctity - Recognition that all human life has immeasurable value
Unity - Commitment to others' welfare
Integrity - Honesty. Responsibility. Morality.
We sum these up with the three terms for which FHR stands: Family, Humanity, Reality
FAMILY - Healthy relationships between men and women, and between parents and children
HUMANITY - Interdependence of all people and the sanctity of human life
REALITY - Choosing truth in a world filled with deception and delusion
